Residents: Help the
Arizona
Environmental Strategic Alliance (Alliance) preserve and enhance
Arizona's environment by participating in the "Green
Arizona" Youtube educational video contest! What
do you do to enter? Select
an environmental issue that interests you. Create a short (3 minutes or less) Youtube video that will: 1.
Identify an environmental topic (see topic examples HERE).
Tell us what environmental issue/impact/concern you are trying
to address. 2.
Tell us in your video what exactly you (we) can do to address this issue? Prizes
will be awarded for the best video entries. Thank

STARTED:
STEP
1. Read
all rules and guidelines. All
rules must be followed, especially those regarding safety, or your
entry will be disqualified.
STEP
2. Register
Online by SUNDAY, March 7, 2010.
If you are under 18 years old, you must have a guardian give permission. Click
HERE to register. You
can work as an individual, small group, or entire classroom! (If
a group wins the I-Pod Touch, you have the option of receiving
the cash equivalent, so that you can more easily divide the prize.)
STEP
3.
Create your video. See instructions on the "create
your video" page.
STEP
4.
Post your video to YouTube then submit the URL to the Alliance no later than
SUNDAY, March 21, 2010. (Submit by March 7th and you
will also be entered into the "Early Bird" drawing for
an extra $50 gift card). Instructions for
submission are HERE.
STEP
5. Judging:
Videos
will be judged
for
Originality,
Environmental Impact, Technical Accuracy, YouTube Hits, and Entertainment. Contest finalists will be contacted by the Alliance and may be invited to attend
an Awards Ceremony & Green Arizona Film Festival, tentatively scheduled
for April 2010. Details will be announced on this site at a later date. If a Film Festival is not held, winners will be notified
individually. The winning contestants will also be posted on this
website.
